Social Science Endeavors

Having majored in Psychology and Philosophy, I am very passionate about social sciences. I have taken on a number of projects to help further these disciplines as well as the state of our world.

Experimental Psychology Thesis

During my final year in college, I wanted to research the effects of different free will beliefs on moral judgment, so I designed my own experiment and wrote a thesis on it. Oral presentation found here.

My awesome thesis advisor was Dr. Catherine L. Reed, Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience.

Summer Fellow @ Fair Food Network

In 2012, I spent a summer living in Michigan working for a nonprofit that partnered with local farmers markets to provide incentive programs for low income residents to help spur the economy. I spent most of my time researching behavioral economics and the psychology of incentives to provide empirical evidence for the program and develop research based suggestions that could help improve the existing program.
